Congratulations! Your success is quite the inspiration. Keep it up, I’m going to need lots of inspiration as I continue to ponder the idea of embarking on ultras!

Thanks Dave! If you’re thinking about doing one, then you want to! Just sign up for one a few months away and go for it!!!

[EXPLETIVE] — enormous congratulations dude. I can’t imagine, I just can’t imagine. It was hell getting to mile 39 for me (of a 50-miler that I had to DNF), so to go two and a half times that distance IN FLORIDA is just something else. I am really looking forward to your full account of the experience. But for now, rest up, eat everything, and enjoy the honor of being crowned a 100-mile finisher.

Thanks Dan! I had a really rough moment at mile 53. Knowing I was only half way was a hard pill to swallow, but had to keep going. Hoping I can get the race report written soon. I’m off to Wyoming for the summer tomorrow!

Thanks! Haha, not sure what I’ll do with the name as of yet. There will be plenty more 100s for me to come.

Thanks Zach! I had a bad moment at mile 53 and didn’t think I was gonna get up. I couldn’t stop short of the finish though. Had to push through so much pain. I just arrived in Atlanta. Packing up and leaving early tomorrow. Still tired from the race but the journey has just begun! Thanks for your incredible support!

Thanks! I’m still trying to collect my thoughts on everything. I think I’m a little shocked from the race and need more time to rest and think about what I learned from it all. This morning my mom asked me what I would have done differently and I just drew a complete blank.

That’s totally awesome Joey! I am so sorry I’m so late in commenting on this… It’s been an absolute privilege and inspiration to follow your blog on this journey. I hope you will keep running and sharing your running adventures with us, even if you have reached your original goal! 😀
